The House of Moreno Cicurel

I intend this Website to serve the descendants of Moreno Cicurel. One section - to come - will be for the creation of a history of the Cicurels of the House of Moreno. I will be asking all those Cicurels to provide the history they know of their branch of the family, so that the knowledge is saved for future generations.
My choice of Moreno Cicurel as a starting point is due to the following:
1. It provides an easily identifiable starting point, since Moreno left Izmir (Turkey) for Egypt, established himself there and built the foundation of what was to be a remarkable House;
2. The period of time is one that is 'manageable' (roughly: 160 years) and for which some collective memory remains;
3. The period is interesting even beyond the "Cicurel" story: the Ottoman Empire and its end, the development of Egypt, the political and economic changes throughout the world, and the dispersion of the members of the House to various countries;

At present, before the work has started, I envision a form of 'blog' in which each House member will provide what he/she knows of the family history - particularly that of his/her branch - for review and inclusion in a 'final' draft of a "book". Beyond the history, the draft will include a summary of historical and economic developments related to the story of the, as well as any links that may be appropriate (e.g. various histories of the Jews in Egypt, histories of other families, genealogies etc...).
I envision the book to be divided into Sections, Chapters and SubChapters. Briefly, the Sections will deal with matters in a chronological order, each of one generation. Thus, there will be a Section for Moreno and his environment, a second Section for his/her children's generation, a third Section for their descendants, and so on. The advantage is that additional Sections can be added as time passes without disturbing the flow of previously written Section.
Within each Section will be Chapters relating to each member of the Section's generation. And, within each Chapter, subchapters may be included as per the wishes of the Chapter writer who might wish to make a separation within the Section he/she has provided.
Over time, there may be a need to change the format. However, as a starting point, it should function well, providing easy reference for the place into which each participant's entries fit.
PLEASE BEAR WITH ME while I try to set all this up. It will take months or years to get this done, but remember that the longest journey starts with a single step.
I would welcome any help I can get from any House member. (I will need it!)
